We have always loved the Maldron and this is our go to hotel in Glasgow but we were a bit disappointed with the breakfast. Everything seemed overcooked and the bacon was brick hard and so was the black pudding. It’s always been good so this was disappointing. I stayed with my daughter and granddaughter the previous week and we complained about stains on the sheets and a side table not cleaned and sticky. We have stayed there regularly since it opened in Glasgow and have never had a bad word to say about it, but this is twice back to back. Hopefully it improves and we’ll definitely be back.

It is always a nice stay at Maldron. However our room must’ve had a leak from all the bad weather that weekend as we woke up on the Sunday to the carpet being quite wet from the window. Thankfully this didn’t ruin anything or our stay, it was just a bit disappointing.

Despite having stayed there before , we felt it was very basic. We had only one chair in our room despite being a couple. Maybe if booked through Itison, things are kept to a minimum.

Really nice hotel, modern, clean and an absolute pleasure to return to after a day visiting the city. We really enjoyed our stay. Great selection at breakfast although there could be more healthy options on offer for those who don’t want a full English. Food in restaurant was a little disappointing and did not live up to expectation. More staff in restaurant would be beneficial during busy times so they are not trying to man the bar and restaurant at the same time. Front of house staff very professional. All in all a really great stay and I’d definitely recommend it and stay again.

It exceeded all expectations. Checked in & out online saving time waiting at a reception desk. Received notification from the hotel advising that our room was ready, most appreciated. The room was spotless and well equipped bathroom with walk in shower.
Breakfast the next morning was great with a great choice.

All good. Room ready when said it would be. Nice and central but quiet at same time. Being able to leave luggage on early arrival and again on departure for the day was an added bonus.

I have stayed at the Maldron several times and it never disappoint. We had a twin room and of course had all the things in the room for a comfortable stay. Water, tea making facilities. Hairdryer and toiletries in the shower room. Beds were comfortable and extra pillows if needed. Breakfast had all the choices needed. The only complaint would be that the choice of eggs was scrambled or boiled.
Other than that it was 4* as usual.
