Another lovely lunch!

We have been here several times and the food is always top class. We had an Itison voucher and it's great value with a cocktail included. Selection of food was good and we also had a lovely bottle of wine. Staff were very friendly and attentive. They can't do enough for the diners. The jazz band playing on a Sunday afternoon makes the dining experience really special. Will be back again soon!

Great selection of wines this is one of my favourite places lovely friendly staff and so helpful. We chose the cheese sharing board which was very nice but quite small portions of cheese for two people.

My friend and I arrived to a warm welcome. We were seated and the cheese and wine deal was explained to us providing lots of options and a chance to upgrade as well. We just chose the white wine selection along with the cheese board. It was all delicious. On finishing this we optwd to move onto The Anchor Line next door and used the internal staircase. We finished our day with a lovely bottle of white, then headed home. No shopping just quality time for my friend to catch up in beautiful surroundings. Will do this again.

The restaurant is stunning. Appreciated the jazz music which added to lovely calm dining experience.
The food was very tasty and the chocolate mousse and cocktails were to die for.
If I could make some small points to improve service.
We were taken early which I appreciated but felt rushed a little particularly to get my Itison voucher out before I could take my jacket off. The staff were attentive but maybe too attentive with 3 or 4 waiters instead of one dedicated waiter. The Amuse-bouche was so tasty but burnt my fingers when I picked it up. Give it a little time to cool before serving. The sauvignon blanc wasn’t great and I wouldn’t order it again.

Been here several times and food is always delicious. The roast chicken in particular is so soft and super tasty, just melts in your mouth, credit to the chef. All the staff are very nice and welcoming and knowledgeable about the food and drinks they're serving. Never felt rushed in this restaurant any time we've been.
