Kitchen doors were hanging off when opened. It was very small compared to
Other lodges we have stayed in. The gardeners cottage was outdated and in need of remodernising
The shower only trickled water
The lounge was very small to seat 6 persons and we had to bring chairs in to seat everyone

My friends and I had an amazing time at The Gardeners Cottage. It was immaculate and everything was perfect. The staff were so friendly and amenable and nothing was a bother. It was well worth the trip and the hot tub was great also. The bedrooms were just perfect. A perfect setting and would definitely go back in a flash could not fault it and the house was lovely and warm too.

The cottage was fabulous So pretty and comfortable and a great complimentary welcome basket, the hot tub was lovely and the back garden which was the walled garden was amazing, would highly recommend.

2nd stay at Wynyard. Stayed in Garden Cottage and outside space is nicer than Dukeswood Cottage (first stay). Although cottages are spacious lounge area a bit small for a group of 5. A few issues with cleanliness - coffee table needed cleaning.
Hot tubs lovely, water was very hot.
Welcome basket & prosecco a lovely touch.
We made a mistake with the number of beds and staff very helpful and quick to organise an extra bed which was very much appreciated.

We stayed at maplewood cottage which had everything we needed apart from a large fridge freezer, we were only there for two days so took our own food and drink , a small fridge freezer is just not big enough for a 3 bedroom cottage

Never imagined how perfect Wynyard Hall, grounds and cottages would be.
We were in Dukeswood cottage and all I can say is what a wonderful experience it was. They have thought of everything and even the hot tub is wow. Staff are amazing and the Spa, Glasshouse and walled gardens are fabulous.
A truly fantastic place.
