Efficient service and very flavoursome sandwiches and cakes.

Great service. Fantastic sandwiches. Wonderful cakes. I used to think that Blythswood Hotel did the best afternoon tea in Glasgow. But Hazel's pastry chef has blown the bloody doors off!

The highlight was the hazelnut Choux bun. Sandwiches and scones just your normal fare. Nice surroundings and attentive staff

We arrived early for afternoon tea and staff offered tea immediately until the appointed time .Food was presented with and explanation of fillings and cake selection. Scones were superb small and freshly baked served with cream and jam.
we enjoyed food selection and the interior design of this new hotel which is light and airy . The restaurant is cool and fresh, it was a very hot day so air conditioning was appreciated Staff paid attention and refreshed teapots as requested. it was a surprise new place to be.

This was the best afternoon tea we have had. It is comparable to Mackintosh at the Willow which is very expensive. The sandwiches, both meat and vegetarian were delicious. Scones and cakes were plentiful and very tasty. The waiter, a nice young man, was very pleasant. Please use Hazel again Itison.
