Fab value for a midweek meal. Not huge portions but more than enough. Place was jumping for a Tuesday night. Will def be back.

There were 4 of us and we all chose a different started and curry from each other and we all really enjoyed our choices.
Great meal, and as we are both vegan, choice of dishes available was excellent.

Attentive, friendly staff. Nice decor & relaxed atmosphere. Great choice of options ( NB:both diners vegan) and therefore did not feel limited with menu (so many places still only offer a 'token' vegan selection) Food freshly cooked, high quality & well presented. Def recommend a visit.

Service was great but menu definitely had less choice on a voucher deal & also portions were much smaller than previously . Another visit - probably not.

Sorry to say I was not impressed with my visit to the restaurant last night.
Having been shown to our table we had a short wait to ordering our meals and drinks.
My Tiger Beer had a slightly chemical / disinfectant taste - my wife thought this too. She was glad a bottle of Peroni.
Starters were fine - poppadoms with spiced onions, vegetable pakora and spicey prawn poori.
I was of the opinion that the main courses - chicken tikka patia and chicken biryani were very very strong and over spiced.
My chicken tikka patia definitely was not tikka - there was no evidence of any skewer holes in the chicken pieces. In addition in both dishes the quantity of chicken present was very small. I was of the opinion that one small chicken breast was probably used between both dishes ( I cook curries from scratch myself at home).
For dessert I had my favourite Gulab Jamin and ice cream- alas the two Gulab Jamin balls were the smallest I had ever seen with little taste and the ice cream was very watery.
Finally service was very slow and we had to wait for quite a long time between courses and after the mains we eventually had to call over the waitress to place the dessert order.
I am of the opinion that this visit was not on a par with the previous visits my wife and I had made to the restaurant. However this will probably not stop us coming back to having a meal in the restaurant in the future. Based on these my answers below are based on previous visits visits and hopefully not wont be repeated in future visits.

The staff were so welcoming and every course of our food was delicious. The only improvement would have been better lighting in the balcony area as it was difficult to read the menu.

2nd time we’ve bought the itison voucher for Ashoka Southside. We were so impressed first time that we also bought a voucher for our daughter.
Our second visit was just as good. Fresh, hot food served by charming and smiley staff. We had wine with our meal and the price is really reasonable - on a par with our local pub.
Would definitely visit again , especially if there are more itison deals

Friendly, welcoming staff. Pleasant surroundings. Great choice of vegan options available & food extremely high quality. Pmekaha was very attentive & efficient. We couldn't fault our experience, will definitely be back & happy to recommend.
