We had a lovely evening and thoroughly enjoyed the food, we included an additional course which was delicious. We asked for a wine pairing which the sommelier provided us and we thought the wine was very tasty and complemented the food.
All round the food, drink, ambiance and service was excellent. Thank you.

Everything about The Peat Inn is exceptional, from the (to die for) food, the ambience, the (truly exceptional) , and the best sommelier that we have ever encountered. This has to be just about the best restaurant in Scotland and we are already looking forward to returning for another perfect evening.

We went as a party of four and we all had a fantastic lunch experience (our friends asked to come with us as they had not had the privilege of having lunch at The Peat Inn before).
The 3 course lunch is of exceptional standard and well worthy of the accolades received. 100% customer service from booking ( I had to amend our booking) , to the reception by staff on arrival (even opening the door for us as we arrived) and the staff throughout the meal. It was such a quiet, relaxing setting and although it seemed busy in all “the nooks” the tables are set in, it was still quiet and we didn’t feel neglected at any point.
The timing between courses adds to the relaxed atmosphere.
What more can we say, it was perfect from start to finish and our friends absolutely loved it, making a special day for us as it was a “big birthday” for two of our party!

Unusually, the cheese course stood out. This is because it was generously sized and had no supplemental charge (so favoured by most 'top-end' restaurants). All of the food was interesting, delicious and beautifully presented. Lang may yer lum reek.

Well trained pleasant & attentive staff & knowledgeable of the food & wines they were serving.
Lovely choices on the set lunch menu , seafood dishes were amazing! as were the canapés, breads and petit fours.
