What an incredible team.... delivering outstanding food, drink and service. We loved everything about it.... except the bill lol. We enjoyed wine pairing and some champagne too.. a special night out. Thanks team fallachan.

Brilliant setting under the railway arch. The team were knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed meeting people at the one table. The food had a wonderful mixture of foraged and recycled waste from whisky production, etc. Every course was imaginative and delicious.

It is an interesting eating experience where there is just one table with everybody eating the same menu simultaneously. This is nice if you like to meet and chat with new neighbours. It is more a tasting experience or performance than a meal with multiple complex courses carefully prepared with high quality ingredients in interesting combinations. For me it worked and I enjoyed it enormously. Even with so many courses I left just satisfied, certainly not overfed. The standard of cooking is not disappointing for the price and I wold repeat but probably not too soon.

With a maximum of 12 people and 1 table makes for a brilliant atmosphere as everyone has to talk to each other which makes for a more sociable evening. I realise that having a table of 12 due to it being a small area works far better as I'm sure all would agree. And of course the food was excellent as were all the staff. We will definitely be back, first class.

Loved it start to finish.
Quite an intimate place with one long table seating 12 people. It is an open kitchen with chefs right there.
Service was very good and food was delightful with quite unusual combinations which really worked.

Single table, 12 diners, set menu. Nice friendly ambiance. Top quality ingredients, carefully, expertly and interestingly prepared. Lots of detail. Lovely presentation. Delicious, varied and sometimes unusual but well balanced flavours. Just one server who was knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful. Wine list OK but pricey. Portions are small and one has to say that this is a lovely dining experience than a hearty meal. It is well worth going for if that is what you are after and it represents value for money for that standard of cooking.

We had a fabulous lunch at Fallachan enjoying every beautifully prepared mouthful as well as the pairings. The non alcoholic pairings were particularly enjoyable. The staff were knowledgeable and courteous as well as extremely friendly. I would whole heartedly recommend and we would hope to return sometime soon.

Only criticism was the noise, for the hard of hearing it was impossible to interact with other customers. Possible solutions might include, sound-proofing the roofing and walls might help, and reducing the volume of the background sound system.

I was looking forward to trying Fallachan kitchen after reading good reviews and being included in the Michelin food guide. It is a small venue only sitting 12 customers. The service was great with 6 staff - 2 in kitchen and 4 serving staff. Unfortunately I was extremely disappointed with the food. The flavour of the food was ok but not exceptional. My friend found several of their dishes over seasoned. We have been to several fine dining restaurants for tasting menus but this is the first one that we felt was over hyped. Dishes were small, as are most tasting menus but to serve one small piece of sourdough with butter and call it a course is really pushing it and including a salted caramel sweet as a course on the menu really made me feel cheated!!! This is the first time I've been left still hungry after a tasting menu course. If I had to pay full price for it I would've felt ripped off! And the venue got very smoky when they were burning wood or coal in the cooking area- not sure if they were using it to heat the place but they were still burning it after the meal was finished which wasn't pleasant to eat during meal even though they had extractor fans over the cooking area. Overall very disappointed and I wouldn't return.
