Despite the weather the trip was tremendous. Great staff on shore and boat and a lovely lunch afterwards. One of the best value trips we’ve done!

We had a lovely sail, and although it rained, that didn't spoil the beautiful autumn colours round the Loch. The staff were excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed our soup and toastie afterwards.

We really, really enjoyed our trip to Loch Katrine. The sail on the steam ship, Sir Walter Scott, was extremely pleasant. The scenery was beautiful, the trees in all their autumn glory and the surrounding hills were stunning. Everything was well planned and sign posted. The commentary on the sail itself was really excellent, factual and humorous! The cafe on board the steam ship was good and the coffee at the pier was also good! Nothing to fault about the whole experience, definitely one I would recommend and repeat myself.

We went on a short cruise on Loch Katrin. Cosy blankets were provided as the day was chilly. The cruise took place on time, we were helped onto the boat and safety information was provided. The commentary was one of the best we've heard and the captain was extremely knowledgeable and had a lovely sense of humour. After the cruise we had a lovely lunch of home made soup,sandwiches and a hot drink.

Lovely 1 hour cruise on the loch and then a great afternoon tea in the cafe.
Both the crew on the ship and the staff in the cafe were brilliant - great value .

The visitor centre is in a lovely location. We had lunch in the cafe overlooking the pretty wooden dock. The cruise on the steamship was really enjoyable with lovely views and interesting commentary. There is an indoor area where you can sit out of the window, but we spent most of our time on the deck enjoying the fresh air. Great value for money and I will absolutely do this again some time.
