Although it's been a couple of years since we had been last,,we understood about the about the £10 more compared to the last time. We were a bit disappointed that the Yorkshire puddings had shrunk massively,, and felt that they weren't homemade,,the chicken was delicious and also the parsnips and carrots, the cauliflower cheese, was a bit bland, definitely can't complain about the staff, they were lovely,, not really sure if we would go back, we are honest reviewers, and really always look for the best to say. but one of us travels up from England,,it's got to be better than average.

We attended the Crowne Plaza for the Sunday roast. The staff were outstanding and couldn’t do enough for us! We had our 3 year old granddaughter with us and she also had a great time in the extremely family environment.
The food was amazing!!
We will make this a regular venue for our Sunday lunches!
Thank you!!

We had a lovely Sunday lunch there this weekend. Roast chicken served in a platter with lots of roasted vegetables, roast potatoes, yorkshire puddings, cauliflower cheese and gravy. Absolutely delicious and generous portions. We followed it up with hot chocolate brownies and ice cream which was scrummy. Can't fault the food and the service was great- staff were very attentive. There was a singer playing guitar too which was lovely- nice ambience. Lovely setting looking out to the Rivr Clyde. We'll be back!

We have been for Sunday lunch here many times and the Sunday roast option is delicious. Excellent - half a roast chicken between two people, served with a variety of roasted vegetables, cauliflower cheese and Yorkshire puddings. There's usually a live singer there on Sundays from 1pm and the ambience is very relaxed. Staff are attentive and keen to please. Can thoroughly recommend for a relaxing lunch next to the river bank.

We both had the fish and chips and thought the fish was over cooked. The restaurant itself was lovely and the staff were very good. Service was excellent.
However, the food was a bit of a let down.
