Restaurant food was basic but nice
Restaurant itself is not the best environment to eat in. For a hotel with such an outlook, you could be sitting in a canteen, with no or little natural light in the main dining area. Why not try and use the bigger brighter hall for dining?
We had a great time room spotless food first class couldn’t fault a thing staff very pleasant and helpful

Have been several times to the hotel and never been disappointed the location is perfect food is excellent staff great and we will keep coming back entertainment very good as well

We enjoyed our stay there, dinner first night as part of the deal. Plenty going on Saturday night as there was a large group of former submarines staying who welcomed us to join in their evening's entertainment and dancing. A great night. Sunday was different as the hotel was quiet and we dined at their sister hotel. Overall a pleasant stay. Plenty to explore round about.

Meals seemed organised chaos with bus parties in- though the system actually worked well and food was good.
Parking at rear - if on end space reverse in or struggle to get in driver side as spaces very narrow.
Sitting on front lawn with sun out and a cool drink looking over the Clyde - unbeatable !

It was a bit difficult to find the hotel as the promenade is pedestrian access only and the entrance is at the side. The hotel was spotlessly clean, if a little dated and the bedroom was large with a sea view.
The only negative point was the food which was ok, basic home cooked food. Nothing special, but I'd expected something better

The hotel is right on the water. Easy to get around Dunoon. The hotel was lovely. The food was great and the staff were lovely and polite. The only small downside was the shower which although gave hot water wasn’t a great amount of water but a very small thing for a wonderful stay.
