Overall I thought it was very good. There is no lift access to the second floor where the breakfast restaurant is sited which could be difficult for anyone disabled. The cooked breakfast was £10 extra on top of the voucher which I thought was a bit mean although the continental breakfast was more than enough.
Fantastic stay from check in to check out

Met on arrival from lovely, friendly accommodating staff. Loved everything about this hotel, were given a garden room with access outdoors and a view of Calton Hill, Treated to surprise extras complimentary minibar and prosecco on arrival, great choice at breakfast would definitely stay again.
A real treat in every aspect.

The staff at the Glasshouse were welcoming and friendly from the moment we checked in we were treated so well.
The hotel bar (snuggery) was cosy and super comfortable. Our room was even better than we expected.
We visited the roof top gardens unfortunately the weather kept us from sitting out and enjoying the amazing views.
What a find

The Glasshouse is a lovely hotel set in a unique part of Edinburgh. You can get a tram from the airport and a few stops later and your right across the road from hotel. The building was an old church and looks small from outside but once you step inside, wow. It’s like stepping into a warm embrace, cosy warm well presented reception, greeted by friendly staff and the concierge. Handed a glass of Prosecco while booking in and all done efficiently and then myself and the concierge are off in the lift to room. We have a great chat about the facilities and where they are located in the building, breakfast room down gorgeous flight of stairs, roof garden and The Snug with Firepit. Arrive at room and it is lovely, crisp clean linen and towels, toiletries in bathroom, fridge with complimentary water and cans. A balcony which is an added bonus, yes there is offices but not near enough to spoil sitting out having a coffee or wee dram. Plenty of wardrope space and a writing desk plus a table and chair in room. All in all it is a well presented, friendly hotel and my only regger is i only stayed for one evening but I’ll be back.
