Everything about our stay was great. Having a bath was an added bonus. So nice to relax in a hot magnesium bubble bath after a good walk around the area and then he’d downstairs for great food.

It was very much as we expected for a castle hotel.
The staff were delightful and very helpful.
The food was excellent.
We loved the castle decor, leather chairs large sofas etc.
Our bedroom was very nice and spacious with a lovely view.
The only thing I would say is that we weren't quite prepared for the number of stairs we had to climb. Which is something anyone with mobility problems should consider.
However the staff did not hesitate to carry our bags up and back down, for which we were very grateful.
Excellent stay in an authentic ancient castle hotel

Had a truly enjoyable stay in a genuine castle in a nice location. Staff were very helpful in reception, the bar and restaurant. Our room was very comfortable with everything we needed. Food at breakfast and dinner was delicious and there was plenty of choice from the menus. Would definitely stay again.
