Even though Andrew is now 8yrs§ he still found the storyline just as funny as his wee sister of 8yrs
Also the 5 adults had a great time too!
It was so well organised with our own special table to sit at during the interval.
Thank you so much for your hospitality!

Extremely well organised family entertainment. A refreshing traditional alternative to TV and computer games and the children were enthralled and engaged. The staff were so helpful and the puppeteers were brilliant. We took our kids when they were 3 and 5 years old and have now taken our daughter and our grandchildren children (3 and 6 years old) - multigenerational fun.
Go out of your way to seek this place out and come away with treasured memories!!

It was beyond expectation. Very well organised from start to finish.
My grand-daughter loved it all though not happy at seeing the puppet with its handler.
For young children perhaps seeing the puppets at the end as they left was not so good.
Brilliant afternoon for ourselves and 3 grandchildren

This experience was wonderful both for children and adults. On arrival we were warmly greeted and shown to our allocated table. We had some lunch and as we had time before start of show we went into the little play area where our grandchildren had fun on swings. The children had never seen a maypole before so we encouraged other little ones to come and we sang and played there. When we were taken into theatre we were shown to allocated seats. The theatre is very quaint and beautiful. The show we found mesmerising. Our two grandchildren had never seen a show quite like this. We all thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Purves Puppets. It was the topic of conversation on our long journey home. Thank you for nostalgic visit.
Amazing. Lovely family activity to do

Place is first of all beautiful with the most stunning views from outside then inside is this charming quaint cafe with lots of puppets available to buy for enthusiastic future puppeteers. Staff were lovely and polite and you can see they’re passionate about their job.
Was then taken into the theatre which is stunning, the decor, the sculptures and the ceiling, look up at the ceiling, especially when the lights go off, absolutely beautiful
Show then started and my 3 year old was heehawing and laughing immediately at Pips and Panda, and the show was very good at keeping his attention, anytime his attention started to dwindle the puppets would be silly and he’d be enthralled again.
Intermission then came at the right time and we all got a drink and snack and the staff were all making sure we were attended to.
Second half of the show started and again, no faults, it was magical and super bright and the use of effects was fab. Show ended at the right time as well, just enough for young kids.
Will definitely be back and would have no issue paying full price again.
Grandaughter loved it!

This is the 2nd year we have visited Purves Puppet shows in Biggar. In Scotland it is wise to book some indoor activities due to our weather, and this is a great choice. The wee one loved it! Nice morning out !
