The hotel is very well situated for walks, shopping in the town. We had a lovely room overlooking the golf course. Breakfasts were very good, the evening meal was fine. Staff were very attentive and the Spa is well worth a visit?

I think we expected better……reception were superb and they upgraded us to a larger bedroom with an angled view of the sea…..but the dinner service was very casual and the set menu nothing special. Breakfast was very good with the hot food freshly cooked and most of the staff pleasant…..the breakfast duty manager was excellent.
In our opinion the decor throughout was dark and over powering and the lighting in our bedroom poor. The decor in the dining room was also not our taste.
The Spa was superb.
On leaving we said to reception that it is not a hotel we would return to.

Had a throughly enjoyable weekend. Having stated here previously I already knew that it would be but was absolutely delighted to be given a room with a sea view. Also need to mention he friendliness and professionalism of the full staff. I have my radar set for the next offer although will be visiting again regardless of a special offer. It truly is a Grand Old Lady

Lovely hotel, great breakfast with plenty choice and very fresh. Fab spa with thermal experience, outdoor jacuzzi and cold plunge tubs. Lovely therapists who gave us great treatments. Was a great offer and I’d buy again.

Beautiful hotel with very well appointed rooms overlooking the golf course to the sea. Perfect situation for access to the town and surrounding countryside. Very friendly helpful staff in all departments. Great choice for breakfast. Would definitely book again

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful hotel with great views. The staff were superb, rooms were comfortable and the meals were delicious.
The only issue was trying to modify our booking. Reservations are mysteriously managed in America who didn’t understand Itison. After many calls and emails, eventually went to the hotel where the lovely staff sorted things in an instant.
