We had the most wonderful experience at The Craigellachie. It far exceeded our expectations will definitely return. The hotel is tastefully decorated & very clean. Our room was beautiful it had lovely views too. Complementary teas, coffee & shortbread. I loved the fact they have their own vodka, whisky, gin & tonic you can drink at either of their bars. The whisky bar is amazing they have over 700 bottles to choose from. The bar tender is so passionate & knowledgeable about all the whiskies well worth booking a whisky tasting. All the staff were so lovely & friendly. We dined there too, the food was delicious. I love how all the produce was locally sourced. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

3rd stay now at this lovely hotel. Open fire in reception gives a warm welcome. Food in the brasserie great with friendly efficient staff. Upstairs whiskey bar was amazing. Only down side was the short bed which meant my husband had to sleep diagonally to get his feet in! Good selection at breakfast. Will definitely be back but will ask for larger bed.

Had a very disappointing experience.
Room was tiny. Shower was rubbish. Debris in bottled tap water provided.
Out of date flat tonic water sold. Manager was very arrogant.
Dog in breakfast room licking table. Suffice to say wouldn’t return!

Our stay was ok our room was dated with no view out the window as trees close to window.
The bar closed early even though we were resident!!

We had a great stay, the room was very good, staff lovely and the food in the bar was excellent. The rooms were very warm which was good.
Great place to explore that part of Scotland, close to Aviemore ski slopes, Elgin and Nairn so lots to explore.

Loved our two night stay at the Craigellachie Hotel. Staff so friendly and food good. Our dogs were made very welcome too. Best dog friendly hotel we've stayed in. Lovely real fires especially welcome on a cold day. Would definitely go back.
