We enjoyed everything at The Marine Troon. Food was delicious, all the staff were very friendly and helpful & we had a lovely spa experience-would definitely recommend.

Marine Troon is a lovely resort in a beautiful part of the country. The staff and service are second to none. The rooms and hotel facilities are very comfortable, food is always first class.
Restaurant closure

We select venues from itison for the quality of the hotel and particularly the Restaurant. So we booked a table in the Rabbit and received confirmation and a conformation before we left home. When we arrived we were told the Rabbit was closed on Monday and Tuesday and we had to eat in the bar with the bar menu. We had not been told the Rabbit was closed when we booked.
Because the food for the Rabbit menu was available we did get to chose from the a la carte menu but still eating in the bar.
The situation ruined ruined our stay and we ill no be back

The voucher does not entitle you to a three course dinner. It is a credit towards a three course dinner and the menu offered was extremely limited. Moreover, we were given a bedroom with a small double bed - certainly insufficient space for two adults and my husband and I are slim!
The hotel is lovely, very pleasant staff and the spa experience was most enjoyable.

A larger lift would be great !
Our room was on the third floor
the lift was tiny and not great for someone who is claustrophobic
I tried to take the stairs but as I had a sprained ankle that wasn’t ideal either.
Apart from that we had a lovely stay with lovely food and very nice staff.
Very good hotel and a great break

We really enjoyed our break at Marine Troon. The treatments are wonderful and so relaxing. All the staff are pleasant and professional. Food was very good. Room size was ok. Very clean and comfortable. Only slight issue is that we were not told when we checked in that there would be service charges. Just mentioning so that other people who are planning or booked to go will know in advance. Overall an excellent break.

Marine Troon is always our favourite go to break in Ayrshire. The whole experience is second to none! As soon as you arrive at the front door, you are warmly greeted by the very knowledgeable Concierge. All the staff go out of their way to ensure that you have a fantastic experience & nothing is too much trouble. Excellent location near Troon beach, stunning decor inside. We will be back.. again and again.
