Thank goodness the company was good as we were a large party that had to wait far too long for our food. Even then the food was pretty average.
I won’t be rushing back!

I've had afternoon tea there before, this one did not measure up. Savouries were disappointing. Best bit was scones.
Not very Spanish afternoon tea

I took my friend for the Spanish afternoon tea. I had been only the week before and it was delicious, but the 2nd time the menu had changed amd it was awful. There wasn't much Spanish about it compared to before. There was a slice of tortilla which was good and some padron peppers.
I complained to Arta as I was really disappointed and they said they had changed and 'improved ' the menu. The sandwiches were average and the cakes not tasty at all. Also scones did not come with jam and cream as advertised, only jam. I asked for cream and was told there was none.
Very disappointing experience. I'm afraid I wont be going back.

The food was really fresh and tasty, with a nice drink to go with it. Plenty there and good selection. The staff were really helpful and friendly.

On arrival we were seated in the centre of restaurant on a small table seated for 2 and whilst we were a party of 2, the table proved too small to enjoy the afternoon tea. Having to navigate and move items in order to reach items.
Furthermore all other parties of 2 were seated at a table of 4, which makes sense when ordering an afternoon tea.
The food itself was mediocre, the frittata had a hair, which we mentioned to the waitress and in all fairness, did offer to change it.
The churros did not seem fresh as they were very hard, not akin to any fresh churros we have eaten in the past. (Crispy on the outside and fluffy in the centre).
We must stress that the staff were perfectly pleasant and we had no issues with them, just the mediocre food and thats the only reason why we gave 2 stars.
