The room and our food was very good.
Unfortunately, our room was sited above a very loud event. We had only been informed of this on checking in but as we were going out we felt it wouldn't be a problem.
We had made the assumption that it would end at 12 pm but it went on till 1 am and the subsequent noise of guests going to their bedrooms meant we did not get to sleep until 3 am.
The Duty Manager dealt fairly the next morning with our concerns but it should not have occurred in the first place. It spoilt our night.

We had a delightful stay, thank you! Staff were all welcoming and helpful, our room was very comfortable and the breakfast has improved greatly since our last visit. The Champagne Bar continues to be a popular and enjoyable feature.

Really good position ( we arrived by train) and lovely helpful staff. Nice room but inadequate lighting - the room felt gloomy and I needed to use phone torch to read in bed! Energy- saving gone too far. Great choice at breakfast.

We'll be back. Went for a family girl's get together before Xmas in November. We couldn't get a seat in the bar as it was so busy but the concierge set up a table and chairs for us in the lobby.
