Enjoyed the overnight stay with DBB. Dinner and breakfast was very good. Reception staff was excellent and very welcoming. Also asked if we required any sightseeing information regarding our stay in Edinburgh. When the receptionist (sorry didnt remember his name) found we were interested in visiting the Royal Yacht Britannia and hadn't got any tickets yet, he provided us with a discount voucher for the entry tickets. Very pleased with the discounts.

Reception staff excellent and trained to a high standard and extremely helpful as were the Dining room and bar staff .
Food lovely and generous portions .
Bedroom which was a superior one was spotlessly clean with towels ,
Robes and slippers available .
We liked the sustainability they were advocating.
Would stay again…maybe 2 nights!

Grest hotel, great room lovely staff. Perfect for our stay. Walking distance to many sites in the old town. We really enjoyed our discounted entry to the surgeons museum.
Nice that profits go to charity.

Great hotel in fab position for the town

Lovely clean, modern hotel in a fab position for the town. We stayed in a superior room, facilities were great, bed was soooo comfy and if you like a warm room then it was fine. We had to turn the temperature off and open the window as we were
too warm but then that is the same issue in every hotel.
We ate in the restaurant. The food was good but I forgot that Scottish chefs love their salt and also sugar. So for me everything was over salted and sugared. Next time - and we will return (so you can see we loved it) I’ll just ask for unsalted veg etc and be careful if I pick a dessert 😊.

Although early, staff dealt with us without difficulty and stored luggage until room ready. Room very clean as was public areas of hotel. Evening meal very tasty and very generous portions.
Break as a self service was well stocked, hot and large choice.
Staff at all times courteous and helpful.

We had a very enjoyable overnight. The room was comfortable and spacious. Both dinner and breakfast in the restaurant were excellent. Wine was reasonably priced. Staff at reception and in the restaurant were friendly and efficient.
