Apart from the fact we waited 15 mins for two soft drinks, which I had to go up and get myself and then a further 435 mins for food there is no way that meal for four is worth £75, I personally don’t think it’s even worth the £50 itison price. Either that or they saw it was for two people and didn’t put out as much as the would have for four! I actually asked if we had someone else’s order. I was expecting to take extra home because it was for four people but we are this between two.
Otherwise compliments to the chef, the food was good, just a shame about the price and waiting.
Hearty food, great staff

We had the BBQ Beast smokehouse platter. Unfortunately they didn’t have any short rib but the meats we got were all well cooked and really tasty. The sides were great especially the mac and cheese and burnt ends. The food did take time to come out but it was worth it because the food tasted freshly made rather than just reheated. The staff were very friendly and attentive without being overly present. Would recommend and would definitely go again.

I didn’t eat the smokehouse platter as I bought it as a gift for a family member and I don’t eat meat. The people eating it said it was lovely. The thing that let it down was the service / wait time.. we waited about 50 minutes for food and as soon as it was done they pretty much wanted us to pay the bill and close of the table. That’s the second time it has happened and it’s pretty poor. The vegan burger honestly.. was over cooked. If I was to come back it would probably be for the atmosphere and drinks personally rather than the food.
Second visit worse than the first

I don’t know what changed since 2025, but the quality and care that was put into the food has diminished. It was still worth the money and quite tasty, but nothing close to my prior experience. The fries in particular were overly salty, and the meat quite dry even though the flavour was there.
Service was excellent as usual, staff are polite, helpful and happy to go above and beyond for their customers.

Not my first rodeo here (like the pun 😝) food is amazing and staff are always friendly and helpful, definitely one of my go to places where your always made to feel welcome and nothing is too much hassle. The bull is a great feature and so much fun, it really is a great place to eat, drink and socialise. Oh and the live music is a great touch also.

We went and the quiz happened to be on, this included a shot of the bull. The food was perfect, drinks were great.

Server was super friendly and nice . Food was not great unfortunately. We got the sharing platter. Half was cold and we paid extra 10 pounds for short rib and it was just fat no meat. I probably wouldn’t go back for that. Drinks are well overpriced too.
