Hotel a bit tired in places. Comfortable bed. Food unremarkable but fine. Good breakfast.

We upgraded to the Corbett Rooms, and they did not disappoint! The room was spacious and beautifully designed, with a comfortable bed and a huge bathroom. The view from the room was simply stunning.

Excellent stay at this gem on Loch Lomond. Food, bar, service, staff all outstanding. We upgraded to a Corbet room. Definitely be back.
Lovely night away

A great night away as always.
The view from the Graham rooms on the upper floor above the restaurant has an amazing view directly overlooking Loch Lomond. There is nothing else in front of you, just the loch. It was so calm and the weather was just ideal. I just happened to wake to the sunrise and got the most amazing photo.
We missed having Netflix on the TV, as this seems to no longer be available which is a real shame, especially when visiting in the colder months.
I'm not sure who cooked the porridge at breakfast but it was like gloop. No seasoning and too much water to porridge ratio. I've had it before and it was the best I'd ever had, so this was disappointing.
Great location & Lovely views!

The hotel is in an ideal spot with it's own private beach right on the Loch. The staff were all really nice and very attentive. The one thing we were disappointed with was the Spa. There is no swimming pool, this was a reason for booking but it is not obvious on the website that the pool is no longer there. The Spa consists of two Saunas + a Steam room at an extra charge of £20 per person for an hour! This is a rip off, never have I paid extra to use a Spa at any other hotel with better facilities especially after paying £250 to stay at the hotel. Other than that our room was great and so was the food. We probably would go back but we definitely wouldn't use the Spa.
