Went gir 2 nights dbb and had afternoon tea on the other day.
Good check in, room was lovely and large, obviously recently refurbished.
Afternoon tea was superb. Lovely touches.
Staff very attentive and chatty.
Dinner and breakfast was also superb.
Would gladly stay here again. In fact can't wait to go back.

Had an overnight. Never been before but looks like Black Bull had a full refub. Very clean, great mattress, slept sound. Dinner and breakfast was included. Dinner lovely as was breakfast. Had a few drinks in the evening at the bar. The barmaid went out of her way, very friendly and welcoming.

Great bar, was made most welcome by Gemma, who gave us great local information of places to visit. Food was excellent, so much that we ate again on the second evening.

I booked this at the last minute for a wee overnight stay as we had theatre tickets locally. The refurbished room was on the first floor, decorated in simple black and white. The bed was huge and super comfy. We had dinner in the restaurant, which was delicious & a generous helping. Only slight point was breakfast the next morning, I had to ask for juice as there was only orange there. No fruit or pastry option ? Having said that, we didn't go hungry & I would absolutely stay again.
