We were made to feel so welcome, nothing was too much trouble.
The room was lovely, the spa is a really relaxing switch-off and the restaurant/bar is relaxed but attentive.
We had a lovely stay.

Exceeded my expectations with a large, stylishly decorated room. The bed was comfortable though not exceptionally large. We were on the first floor, thankfully as the elevator was still out of order as was advised at our time of booking. Our double aspect windows overlooked the carpark which was very busy but we found a space ok. Back to the room review - I doubt I have ever had such a splendid tea tray with its variety of tea leaves in wee tins, coffee with a cafetière plus regular sachets of both. The tunnocks box was wonderful if you have a sweet tooth. Onto the bathroom; again I doubt I have ever seen a longer bathroom sink which reflected the length of the bathroom. A good sized shower at one end with a nice bath tucked into the other end. We had a joke about the shower controls - it’s a bit steampunk. Everything functioned perfectly and the complimentary toiletries smelt lovely.
We enjoyed the swimming pool which was warm, better for the kids that were there. The sauna was toasty - as it should be. The hot tub in the garden was an absolute delight. The changing rooms were totally spotless (as was the whole pool area) but with only one shower. This wasn’t a problem as it seemed almost everyone was using the robes provided in our rooms to enjoy their time at the spa then return to shower in their room.
We didn’t have an evening meal but enjoyed the breakfasts on both mornings. It’s so much better having a freshly cooked breakfast than a hot buffet. There was plenty choice of cereals, fruit and a few pastries as well as fruit juices.
All the staff were very polite, friendly and carried out their duties perfectly.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxed, kind of traditional stay. Pretty sure I’ll be back. Hopefully the elevator will be repaired and maybe a larger bed.
Lovely room. People. Food. Atmosphere.

Always delighted with our stays at the Golf View. It has such an amazing spa and the hotel is in such a lovely position looking out over the Moray Firth. Nairn is a lovely place for a weekend break.
It was a lovely stay, the hotel, staff, food, and spa were all brilliant.

We went to the Golf View Hotel and Spa for my husbands birthday with his daughter and her husband. It was a wonderful relaxing visit. The staff, as always, were absolutely lovely and couldn’t have done any more to welcome us and make our visit perfect. Thoroughly recommended.
A rather tired hotel showing its age.

Our room was cold and we had to ask for supplementary heating. Many of the carpets were showing their age and needed replacing. The menu was limited. Apart from the usual fish/burger/steak and chips, there were few specials. Staff were pleasant.
Brilliant. A lovely relaxing stay
