We had a superb one night d/b+b anniversary stay. The venue, a wonderful architectural gem both internally and externally, was very welcoming and in addition the stars of the show are the staff in all departments and the food - a fabulous menu perfectly cooked and presented superbly by a talented kitchen and brilliant service.
The only relatively minor issue was a few small comments on the bedroom. Lighting maybe needs upgraded (paryicularly for reading) and layout of furniture relative to location of wardrobes not jdeal. Location of power points and provision of USB outlets could be looked at? As I say MINOR issues which really did not detract from an excellent experience.

From our greeting at reception to check out, we were made to feel very welcome. This is the third visit for me and my wife, the second for our friends.
Bar service was excellent, as was the service, food and wine in the restaurant.
Front of house staff took time to hear our plans and arrange taxis and seemed genuinely interested in making our stay special.
We will be back. Hopefully when the weather allows a game of golf.

Warm and friendly check in. Beautiful location and gardens. Excellent large rooms and bathroom. Bar and restaurant areas luxurious and comfortable. To be honest can’t find anything to criticise

Room as always was very spacious,comfortable and well equipped.
Breakfasts good.
Dinner not quite there.kitchen should not get waiters to introduce amousebouche as 'just pate'. Lobster mains (nice sauce and plenty of lobster) spoiled by huge overdose of cayenne. Other 2 mains only just warm enough. Excessive wait for simple ice cream desserts. Cancelled after waitress reacted badly to complaint about delay

From the moment we arrived the staff were exceptional. The food was lovely and the room was very spacious and cleaned to perfection.
Would recommend the hotel to family and friends. The concierge was very helpful and endured we were looked after.

Hotel is amazing. Rooms huge for relaxing in. Staff are a delight - so down to earth and friendly. Restaurant food wonderful. Couldn’t recommend the whole experience highly enough.

Always enjoy a visit to Lochgreen. Only thing I would comment negatively on is the shower in the bathroom. Room 6, and Room 5, tiny shower cubicles with barely enough room to turn around. The force of the water from the shower was ferocious! To get hot water you had to keep turning the tap which only increased the water pressure.

As usual the food and service at Lochgreen was excellent. Bedroom was comfortable but we did have a problem with a blocked toilet on both nights. This was however fixed as soon as we reported the matter.
All of the staff we met in the hotel were very welcoming, friendly and helpful .
