Fantastic location and great views.
Hotel room was in need of an upgrade carpet was very badly stained. TV didn’t have regular channels for some reason, asked at reception but this wasn’t addressed during my stay.
Food in restaurant was very nice, both at dinner and breakfast.
Leisure facilities were very good.
Staff were friendly and helpful.

We have stayed in the hotel many times, but felt that this time it was in great need of some refurbishment.

Some negative comments are difficult for me to comprehend… I really don’t care if there are a few stains on dinning chairs or some wall paper are outdated. What matters to us after a day of cycling in the area is how welcoming and attentive the reception staff is ( including their warm chocolate cookies). The menus are versatile to please all likings and the food is always very tasty, always. A special thumb up goes to the swimming facilities: the water is the warmest out of many pools we have been and the sauna is very much appreciated after cycling..
Can’t wait to go back again..

We had a lovely relaxing evening, and meal was superb. Staff were all very friendly and helpful, bed was really high so they provided a stool to help.
It would help if there were 2 chairs in the room.

Stayed many times over the years.Apex have started refurbishing the bedrooms. We had a lovely room.

The hotel communal areas are lovely. The meal in the restaurant was superb and the service from the staff (including the bar) was amazing. The only negative was the rooms and corridors are needing redecorated. The ensuite was tired looking and the back of the room door was marked with rust marks running down the door from the door closure. Also the door closure is so near the wardrobe door that every time you open the wardrobe door you are hitting off the door closure and unable to open fully.
