Very friendly , helpful staff and good food. Live music was a nice back drop and the singers were very good.
Afternoon tea was OK

Nice space internally though I felt it cold. Especially the toilets which were also very dark. Afternoon tea was OK but nothing special. Staff were polite and attentive to start but towards the end was difficult to get anyone’s attention.

The duo who was playing was excellent but so loud we couldn’t hear ourselves talk. I asked for the volume to be turned down but that was not possible as it was pre set. As a result we left early. There were only a few people in so completely lacking in atmosphere.
The afternoon tea was well presented but some items appeared to be shop bought. Sandwiches were freshly made but all thin white bread. Mini cheesecakes were in a plastic container with a small plastic spoon. The small pot of jam had been refilled and only one between two. Usually jam is served unopened and one jar per person.
All staff were really lovely and made us feel welcome, especially the doorman. They have to be commended on their professionalism and friendliness.
There’s a lot of potential here but needs careful thought to make afternoon tea a memorable and special experience.

Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Sandwiches, scones, cakes were very fresh and well presented. Staff very friendly. Oh, the prosecco was first class.
Perhaps the music could be lowered a bit.
