Kirsty took me this morning for a taster session at Angus Alchemy as a little early Christmas present and all I can say was what an amazing place, Phil spent nearly 2 hours with us going through all the different spirits and was certainly not shy on the measures, all the different moonshines and the gin were fantastic. You could tell Phil has a real passion for the place and his enthusiasm shines through. I have done loads of tasters and tours trying many whisky's and gins from big distilleries to the small micro brewery's but this for me was 1 of the best and will definitely be back. we left with a few nice tipples and am looking forward to trying them. According to Phil and other members we were the first to request a 10am taster and all I can say was an afternoon nap was needed once I got home. Anyone reading this please book yourself in you wont be disappointed.

Had a really great afternoon, staff were really welcoming and friendly and gave us a really great and entertaining time. The moonshine and gin we tasted were amazing and I came home with lots of purchases! I would definitely recommend

We all absolutely loved the experience. The place was easy to find, the atmosphere very relaxed and what we particularly liked having undertaken a few gin tours over years was that it was all conducted in a quirky very clean open lounge bar style area with stills in background. We met directors and manager -Colin? who took tour. He was brilliant- very knowledgeable relaxed and liberal with the moonshine. None of us had tried moonshine so had no idea what to expect. We tried 6 ranging from Cranachan to lemon cream to Clooty(as in dumplings) and an award winning gin to finish as we waited for our lift. We had specialty pies fr Wee cook Arbroath half way through (u pay extra if u want them but they are also very good). They were all very very good and very smooth with correct tonic or lemonade and/or fruit. We bought 3 bottles but could have bought more. Highly recommend you try this either as tour or for start of men’s/girls/mixed nite out which they also accommodate by arrangement. Can’t thank them enough for a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Had a great time. Our first experience of tasting moonshine. Phil was a great host & made our visit very enjoyable. We tasted 6 different moonshines & 3 gins. All very tasty! Be warned though, also very potent! Just make sure you have a designated driver! All in all it was a great experience & I wouldn't hesitate in recommending to others.

We had a Brilliant time, Colin was a great host as was William. So interesting to hear how Moonshine was made and how it actually came about. The various Moonshines were so good and loved tasting all the varieties of them. Highly recommend going here and we are returning later on the year.
