The food was all top notch and worth driving from a distance. The table had a great view of the garden which was lovely even in November.
Note to hotel- although the risotto was deliciously creamy, the vegetarian in the party had food envy and would have liked a nut roast to be upsides with the roast beef on offer 🤣

Rufflets is a beautiful country house hotel. The staff we encountered were warm, friendly and efficient. The menu options were so appealing, we struggled to choose. All of the food was well presented and delicious. After lunch we had a glass of wine on the terrace then walked around the hotel's lovely gardens/grounds. We can't wait to visit again and can highly recommend.

Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Rufflets. The service was outstanding and the food was of a very high standard, beautifully presented and extremely tasty.
It was so good I went home and bought another Itison voucher for Rufflets.

Delicious, creative dishes served in a bright, spacious dining room, with views of the hotel’s beautiful gardens. Service friendly, well informed but calm and unobtrusive. A place to eat , drink and relax in a comfortable setting. A consistently enjoyable experience. Like us, you’ll return!

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. Staff were very pleasant and welcoming, and the food was delicious. To make the meal even better, at very little additional cost to the hotel, I’d suggest a more generous serving of broccoli and carrot would be welcome, and lighter Yorkshire puddings.
However, this represented very good value and we are looking forward to returning. The opportunity to enjoy the extensive, delightful gardens was most welcome! Our thanks to all.
