We went for Jazz Sunday . Music by pianist and female singer excellent. Attentive service. We chose from the set menu which provided enough choice. Salmon starter and burger mail both good. Small wine selection but reasonably priced. All in all excellent evening in atmospheric restaurant

Not a good first impression …. the beetroot and apple starter was tasteless.

Having eaten at Epicures three times in the first quarter of 2025, my expectations were high for our set menu dinner. However, the beetroot & apple starter completely lacked any taste. Nevertheless, the staff were very attentive and pleasant. The other dishes were well presented and tasted good.

Decided to give Epicures a second chance after not really liking it the first time, but it just reinforced that it is just very average. It is also a bit bizarre that, what appears to be the owner, swans around like he owns the place!!!!!! Not for me

Eaten here a few times and it’s always been brilliant. Epicures has a classy but relaxed feel about it. I Had the scallops that were amazing and the chicken schnitzel was delicious. The wine list is really strong too, cote du rhone and picpoul are incredible.
We live local so will be regulars for sure.

The restaurant has recently changed interior and it is lovely, nice ambiance , we bought the voucher and enjoyed a lovely glass of Champagne, and two courses, delicious scallops and a very generous and delicious fishcake, everyone enjoyed there food, stay friendly and attentive, had a lovely evening
Lovely service - disappointing food

Our waitress was so lovely and attentive. Unfortunately we felt quite let down by the food. Chicken schnitzel was very dry. Fried egg on top was hard and garnish of rocket was disappointing. Felt sticky toffee pudding was too dense - ice cream was good though
