The staff was great, the atmosphere and ambiance were great, and most of all, the food was delicious. The Voyage of Buck exceeded all our expectations.

We had a lovely lunch here. The staff were great. I would recommend.
I gave it a 4 star as I felt the place was cold. I had read other comments saying that but I thought it would be okay but it was chilly, even my husband thought that. Otherwise I would have given it a 5 star.

Excellent, good value lunchtime meal + cocktail with friends using Itison Vouchers.
We had an excellent meal in the relaxed surroundings of this comfortable West end bistro.
Our meal was great - an extremely tasty cod dish. generous portion, flavoursome salmon starter with great pumpkin seed bread. The chicken schnitzl was also very tasty and ag enerous portion too.
Service was great - welcoming, efficient, friendly.
We always enjoy our visits to V of B and the Itison offers are very good and keep us coming.
Additional drinks are fairly priced as well.

We had a really excellent meal here, with a voucher which more than paid for even just one of our meals! We both selected main and dessert - and given the mains have such quality as venison and cod, these are not just a standard burger or fish supper. Adding a substantial dessert (the crumble is my top tip), and you’re quids in!
The waiting staff were all great, with just enough attendance to not feel crowded, and all chatted for a minute, making you feel relaxed with the servers. Well done to whomever trained them.
Having been here for drinks a number of times on rugby days, we’d always planned to return for food. We’re very glad we did!

Didn’t know what to expect but we had a main of cod which was so tasty and well presented and the cheese board for sweet the service was excellent A bit chilly inside Could have done with more heating for a cold wet day Very expensive if not with Itison

Lovely surroundings enhanced by the quality of the staff who were knowledgable, welcoming and never intrusive. We all remarked on how rare this level of customer service is these days so thank you. Food was excellent as always and a really good choice. Hard to beat and this deal is a steal.
