Spa day with treatment and light lunch
Reviewed on
We had a nice visit, but had to pay an extra £10 each to have a 25-30 minute back massage. The massage was good but hands on was only 19 minutes- we set a timer on our watches. The treatment comes before spa access and there is a lovely relaxation room that you can access during your visit. The pool is about 10 metres long so not the best if you like to swim lengths. The sauna and steam room are nice but very small. There is a jacuzzi next to the pool, which was very comfortable and warm. The whole pool area was nice and warm too. We swapped out our Prosecco for a soft drink. Lunch was soup for a starter, a choice of a chicken wrap, a rarebit or super salad and desert was a chocolate mousse. All lovely and you could pay extra for sides of fries, etc.

My mum treated me for a big birthday and it meant a lot to us to spend time together.
The therapists were lovely, very helpful and professional.
The pool etc was good, busy the day we were there.
The 3 course lunch was a bit disappointing, not a great choice. If we went again we would opt for the afternoon tea as we’ve had this before and it was a better option.
We had a good day and would use again.

My daughter had spa day vouchers for Westerwood. We arrived at 11.00 which is the first time you can get access on a day basis - the pool area was already full and we got the last two loungers before we headed for lunch then treatments. Robes and towels are provided but not flip-flops.
Lunch was most disappointing - it has been pared back to the minimum with lots of extra charges. The treatments were excellent and the relaxation area lived up to its name.
When we returned to the pool area there was only one lounger left without a towel claiming it, although no-one used any of them.
The staff are lovely and welcoming at reception, in the dining room and in the treatment rooms.
The experience was good but not great.
Not very relaxing

I felt the experience wasn’t worth the money. We were left to apply the clay ourselves and told to sit in the steam room and let the steam work The spa area where our treatment was done, the tiles were all broken and waiting to be repaired. The relaxation room was nice but the pool area was a bit tired and not much relaxing s there was a baby swim group taking place at the same time. The lunch was nice

Really enjoyed the rhassoul experience but not for the faint hearted as it was very hot in the steam room. Didn’t know what the rhassoul experience was but would recommend. Lunch was fab and staff were great. Pool area etc could do with an upgrade is looking pretty tired also the rhassoul experience room could do with upgrade x but didn’t take away from the experience.

Pleasant staff on reception then a nice swim . Tasty lunch and great service - special thanks to chef who made me a fruit salad as I’m diabetic and couldn’t have the dessert on menu. Sharon my spa therapist was fab ! Great frangipan scrub and excellent facial . My friend had Erica as therapist and said she was amazing. Thanks ladies .
