Great venue, relaxed and comfortable. Service great, choices on menu good for all three courses plus couple of things available at small supplement, everyone happy with food both taste and presentation. Great value with vouchers.

The meal was very good, the service was also good but unless you really enjoy a cocktail, the Itison voucher is not good value for money. Instead of a cocktail , you could have draught soft drink ( as opposed to bottled soft drink) or a beer. Supplements apply - £2.50 for gambas pil pil and £5.00 for salmon goan. By the time I’d paid the supplements and an eye watering £16.50 for one glass of Sauvignon blanc wine to accompany my draught soda, I was wishing that I hadn’t bothered with the Itison ‘deal’. Please remind customers to consult the price list when ordering a glass of wine!
I was disappointed 2 of the 4 starter choices were unavailable.and only 2 cocktails to choose from.

I was disappointed as 2 of the starters were unavailable. There was only a choice of 2 cocktails one tequila and one gin both of which I don’t drink. The fish chips and goujons only had a tiny ramekin of mushy peas no other vegetables.

Just be mindful of other offers at the restaurant. We paid around £56 but noticed that there was an advert for 2 courses for £19.95 which overall seemed better.
