The restaurant itself is quite basic and belies the quality and care that goes into the delicious food. I had the spaghetti carbonara and my husband had the beef ragu. They were both excellent and served in unusual black wooden bowls. The portion sizes were generous. My husband had a side dish of foccacia with a generous portion of quality olive oil. The byob was unexpected but we popped over to the Waitrose store across the street for a bottle of red wine. We would definitely go back for the food and the friendly service. Perhaps softer music and lighting would add to the enjoyment of the meal but it wouldn't put us off.

This was my first visit at Pasticcio after discovering this new spot on itison. I really enjoyed the carbonara and the venue was nicely decorated with helpful staff.
