Our experience at Chop House was wonderful. Having been on previous occasions we knew what to expect. Both the quality of food and the service was outstanding. A definite thumbs up from us and looking forward to our next visit.

Steaks medium-rare when we ordered rare.
Chicken had a strange texture and taste wouldn’t order again.
Asked to swap steak vouchers for a burger and refused even though cheaper on the menu.
£5.50 for 2 half slices of bread!

My son and partner had to wait a long time for their food and people at next table also said they had been waiting over an hour for their food. They weren’t happy with the customer service as no real explanation for the delay

I was really disappointed with my visit to Chop House. From the start, the staff came across as unfriendly and impatient, which made us feel unwelcome. The atmosphere was ruined further by the music, which was so loud it was difficult to have a normal conversation.
The food itself was no better — the rump steaks were incredibly chewy and far from enjoyable. To top it all off, the waiter cheekily added a “service charge” of £27.50 on a bill of just £37.50, which is outrageous. This was the extra we had to pay on top of the already £150 we had paid for itison vouchers.
Overall, a very poor experience. Between the bad service, unappetising food, and questionable billing practices, I would not recommend Chop House.
