Everything was exceptional and a wonderful high tea experience for my partner and myself. Well worth a visit in so many ways and prepared and served by excellent staff.

Afternoon tea was just ok scones were lovely cakes sandwiches not so much it is an old building and it showed when inside was good to see it but wouldn’t rush back

Nice venue but wasn’t warm enough and coffee and food was mostly average, other than the scones which were amazing. There was only one member of staff on which wasn’t nearly enough to cope with the number of tables booked. I was disappointed as the last time I booked the itison afternoon tea it was really lovely.

The first floor restaurant where we were served was a little tired but don't let that put you off. The afternoon tea was really lovely and the staff were probably the friendliest we've experienced in a long time.

All was as expected from previous visits. The range of sandwiches was changed to suit us. A beautiful array of small cakes. Endless tea and coffee. The only slight flaw was that the scones were a little overbaked. Attentive, efficient and approachable waiting staff.

Excellent choice of food and replacements quickly found for two of our party who didn't fancy coronation chicken sandwiches. Freshly baked scones and lovely cakes.
