Due to illness I was unable to travel up to Aberdeen to meet my daughter who lives there. I phoned the Terrace to ask if I could get a takeaway. The girl I spoke to at first said she didn't think they did but she would go upstairs & check she asked for my number so they could phone me back. She was a pleasure to speak to. Within a few minutes another girl phoned me. She was so helpful & friendly & said that it wasn't a problem for them to box it up. My daughter picked it up & they had went above & beyond. They had misunderstood me as they had included a cardboard cake stand thinking that I lived in Aberdeen. My daughter said it was excellent. I wish everyone were like the 2 girls that I spoke to. I will definitely come here when I feel better

Surroundigs were comfottable with a nuce view over Union Terrace gardens. Staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Well presented afternoon tea.

The food was delicious, the staff were very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was lovely and the views were brilliant. A lovely afternoon tea and would highly recommend it.

We enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea at The Terrace. The selection of sandwiches, lovely scones and ‘fine pieces’ were excellent - everything was freshly made and very tasty. Along with the glass of Prosecco and the selection of teas or coffee it was great value for money. The service was excellent too which rounded off a very nice experience! Highly recommend.

Lovely food. Lots of options.
We had both vegan and "normal" diners in our party and everyone really enjoyed the food.
The vegan choices included 4 finger sandwiches and a selection of 5 cakes each.
The normal options had slightly more choices but everything was delicious.
Other reviews in itison stated that tea and coffee was not included but it was.
Additional drinks had to be paid for obviously.
Will definitely be back.
I really appreciated the amazing service. Our waiting staff were so lovely and attentive.

This afternoon tea was booked for my mother's birthday. The event went well, we all enjoyed the food, there was plenty.The staff were so helpful and attentive.The prosecco was given in small bottles each, such a good idea as each person can pour the desired amount and nothing gets spilled, unlike when 1 bottle is shared, often its too bubbly and overflows.Lovely views from our window seat, many photos were taken too. All the people present joined in to sing Happy Birthday
