Re-charging stay

This was our 3rd time at loch katrine pods. As always, the view of the loch and the bens around is breathtaking. The calm and quiet atmosphere of the loch is perfect for a weekend away to shut off from the city. The walks around that area are beautiful and good for any ability. At just 15/20 minute drive from Callander and Aberfoyle, it is easy to go out for dinner and enjoy the local hospitality as well.
Fabulous Weekend in a Hidden Gem

Used our itison voucher for a Glen Lodge, with free boat cruise and £15 voucher towards breakfast on the 10-12th October . For the price , this was amazing value for money! The weather was amazing , we were so lucky and going at this time of year it was a lot quieter . The scenery was beautiful with the autumn leaves . The pods are very basic but have everything you need even tea/coffee/ hot chocolate/ milk/ sugar sachets which I wasn’t expecting for the price . There was washing up liquid and toiletries in the shower. Our pod had a toilet but it’s a real bonus to get your own private shower and toilet just next door to our pod. Everything was spotlessly clean and the view from the pods is beautiful and so relaxing .If I was going back I’d pick a pod with a fixed bed as I found the sofa bed too hard and the bunk beds a bit of a squeeze to get into. Breakfast was fantastic at the cafe and a lovely place to sit and enjoy the views of the loch . We loved our 1 hour boat cruise on the steamship . The staff are so friendly and really made the boat trip enjoyable and interesting with the commentary . All the staff are so helpful and friendly which made the stay even more enjoyable. I’d def recommend anyone to visit there . The village of Callander is beautiful . Loads of lovely walks in the area . Plenty to do and see . We had a fabulous weekend .
Besutiful place set in absolutely stunning scenery

I went with my husband for 2 nights and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The clamping pod was lovely, very comfortable but the main selling point of the trip was the absolutely stunning scenery that surrounds Loch Katrine. The facilities were excellent, the food from the cafe was delicious and well priced. Everything had easy access and was well organised, the area was beautifully maintained and despite the number of people visiting was still very peaceful. We went on the 2 hour trip on the Sir Walter Scott which was very enjoyable and again showed the scenery to its full advantage. We really enjoyed our visit and woukd definitely go again
Lovely staff and lovely pod !

The lodges were lovely. We had lodge with WC and WHB. The shower block, close by, was for our sole use.
We didn't attempt any cooking in the combi microwave oven.
Nice touch that there were complimentary tea/ coffee sachets and washing up liquid, though we had come prepared.
Staff at lodges were very friendly.
We are in Steamboat cafe which offered gluten free options required by one of our group.
Cruise on the loch was very enjoyable.
Absolutely Stunning

The eco lodges couldn’t be any closer to the loch. Checking in and out was very simple and the ladies who look after the lodges do a great job. A big thanks to the guys on the tour host who let me sail it for a bit also a very interesting trip on boat.
Relaxing , at peace with nature stunning .

We didn’t know what to expect but we had a king size bed and double shower so more room than we expected.
The setting was beautiful and the staff were friendly and very helpful.
We really enjoyed the cruise on Loch Katrine.
Maybe extra cutlery and plates would have been useful when barbecuing for example.
Lovely little cabin and beautiful view

Arrived on Sunday - clear instructions of how to get in the cabin.
Beautiful views.
Cabin was a good temperature.
Perfect size for 2 people. Definitely don’t think 4 people could share that space.
We had a lovely boat trip on the Monday, highly recommend going out on the steam boat. The staff were lovely.
Would recommend the bicycles. We hired them for 2 hours and went for a lovely cycle.
One thing that I would suggest for the cabin, hooks… after having a shower, no where to hang towels.
Nowhere to hang coats.
Also be prepared that there is nowhere to eat at night. We went to Callander quite a lot.
