We went on a Sunday at 5.30pm and the bar was really quiet. That being said it took a long time to get served a drink as the waiter was too busy chatting to the female who welcomes you to the restaurant. The 'free' cocktail from the deal (this was how it was offered to us) was very poor - basically made up of various juices and very little alcohol. The menu choice for the deal was fine, however, the chicken liver pate comes with too little an amount of toast to go with the pate. The mains were fine, as were the desserts. The restaurant was busier than the bar, however, where we were sitting we could spot that many meals were being left at the pass, right beside where the waiters were chatting - so you weren't getting your meal instantly. Overall, it felt like there was a lack of supervision and the service was suffering. Definitely not as good as I have experienced in the past.

First visit to Anchor Line, and I must say the food was absolutely amazing. The restaurant itself is a lovely venue with staff plentiful and very attentive. We'll definitely be back to this gem.

A really lovely experience from start to finish.
Plenty of choice on starter, main and dessert.
The amuse bouche and cocktail were what was on offer, but, none the less for it.
All food was very good quality.
