Fabulous informative hands on experience.

The experience from start to finish was fabulous. Very hands on after thorough information on bees and insects living with humans. Protective clothing excellent. An activity for both adults and children interested in bee activity. The host was very knowledgeable and passionate, friendly and very engaging with all ages. Thoroughly recommend.
Great experience!

We visited as a group of four with ages ranging from 11 to 68. The school was so informative and we all learned a lot about bees and the environment in general. The hands on experience with the hive was great fun and we really enjoyed being up close to the bees. The setting is beautiful too. I’d recommend to anyone.

This was a gift to my granddaughter who is 6 years old. She had the time of her life at bee school and has talked about it every day. I was concerned that it might be a bit overwhelming for her but the school made the experience enjoyable for adults & children alike.
Highly recommended!
Loved every minute of it. Interesting informative relaxed friendly atmosphere as well as practical

Great afternoon, learned lots, plenty of time to get hands-on with the bees. Beautiful surroundings, Heather was great, very approachable. Would be good if it was flagged up that the path there is uneven, for anyone unsteady on their feet. Only disappointment was there was no cake as had been mentioned on the voucher.

Be very cautious booking The Bee School through Itison.
I booked 4 places months in advance and realised in early April (well before the event date) that I had selected the wrong day. I immediately contacted The Bee School and was told to go through Itison. I did exactly that.
Itison then confirmed they had spoken to The Bee School, who refused the date change.
When I went back to The Bee School, they said bookings are handled by Itison. Itison, however, made it clear that any changes require approval from The Bee School.
So in reality, I was passed back and forth between both parties, with neither taking responsibility or offering a solution.
What’s particularly frustrating is that The Bee School’s own website outlines rescheduling criteria, which my request met, yet this was not honoured. After challenging this, communication from them stopped entirely.
I wasn’t asking for a refund. I simply wanted to attend on another available date.
End result: 4 tickets likely wasted despite trying to resolve the issue early and through the correct channels.
If you’re booking, make absolutely sure your date is correct, because even reasonable, early requests to change it may be refused, and you may find yourself stuck between two companies with no resolution.
Amazing experience and we learned so much about bees, honey and nature!

The bee school experience was fabulous, taking teenagers on a family day out can be met with resistance. However my two had amazing time and loved learning more about bees and enjoyed getting into the suits and getting out to the hives.
Best day we had done in a very long time! Highly recommend ( Infact two sets of friends have since booked)
Great experience.

Wonderful day with the bee school. So interesting for both adults and children. I now no longer run away when a wasp or bee approaches , it's completely changed my view of them. It's also given us more appreciation of our environment.
