The ashvale was quiet when we arrived which was a shame as the meal was lovely - fresh fish fresh chips and creamy coleslaw

I have been coming here since my daughter could eat solids. She is now 11 and still loves her fish and chips. The staff are really nice and can't do enough to please you and make sure you enjoy your meal.

Both had battered haddock and chips. Batter was soggy and chips very palid. It was edible but far from what we remember the Ashvale’s usual standard was from a few years ago. Service slow too. All in all, a disappointing experience.

I’ve been for food at The Ashvale many times and it never disappoints! A friendly welcome, friendly & efficient staff, and big portions of tasty food!
