Greeted in a friendly manner. Answered our queries before ordering. Service rather slow but when food arrived it was hot and tasty and plentiful.
Visiting the men’s toilets was not a particularly nice experience.
Fantastic value for money using the Itison voucher.

The staff where pleasant helpful food was tasty,but not heat hot .I like my food hot the spicy Ness was good.The other downfall was when using a vocher you get a different menu,very limited.

A Sunday Lunch Gem at Goomti

My wife and I recently visited Goomti for Sunday lunch, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish.
The Atmosphere & Service
The first thing we noticed was how welcoming the staff were. The restaurant has a lovely, comfortable decor that makes you want to settle in and stay a while. What really stood out was the service—it was excellent and impressively speedy without ever feeling rushed.
The Food
The food was the highlight of the afternoon. Everything we ordered felt authentic and truly delicious. It’s clear the kitchen takes pride in traditional flavors; it’s easily some of the best Indian cuisine we’ve had in the area.
One Small Note
If I had one minor complaint, it would be the Mango Lassi. It was tasty, but the serving size felt quite small. To be fair, I think I’ve been spoiled by having lassis in India, where they are typically served in much larger portions!
Overall
Despite the small drink, we had a fantastic time. If you are looking for great food and a warm environment for a weekend meal, Goomti is well worth the visit. We will definitely be back!
