I feel we were treated as second class citizens as we were put in a dark and dingy room.
We got the wrong order of our main course and when we got our correct order, some of the beef was virtually raw.
This is the second supposedly highly rated hotel where we have gone with itison vouchers and felt like second class citizens.

Our experience at Blair’s restaurant was probably better than expected. Ardoe House Hotel has fantastic gardens and spectacular views, the only thing that might improve your experience would be if the restaurant looked out to the gardens.

Our visit for lunch was excellent. Food was very good & generous portions. Service was excellent. The servers were very friendly & helpful. My only small gripe was we were the last diners in & I don't know if the staff were on a break but I had to go & ask for the bill. Would definitely go back. The offer was definitely worth it

I was quite disappointed with the menu choice, i expected more game dishes in keeping with the hotel style and area.
The dishes available were very similar and very minimal gluten free options.
We had a lovely afternoon eventually after a miss communication with my GF requirements having phoned to confirm our booking twice they still didn’t have this sorted and we had to wait while they made changes and some fresh scones which were delicious and worth the wait.
Staff are were all lovely and made us feel very welcome.

We were staying at the hotel and booked dinner in the restaurant. The menu was extensive although a little unusual. Overall the experience could not be faulted. Superb food, especially the rib of beef, the portions being more than adequate and great service form the young waiting staff.
