Everything is very pleasant with lovely staff and a great breakfast.
Pub had an intermittent internet issue with people trying to pay.
Only thing we found a bit off putting now in rooms 9 and 10 from two visits along the spa corridor was the bits of black mould round both baths.
Adjoining room with big gap under door a bit off putting.
Would like conditioner and body lotion provided .
Returning next month though!

Rooms nice, location lovely, Leo in bar fantastic but that could not make up for the dreadful service in Restaurant- very rude manager and staff. So upsetting as not provoked at all. Would not recommend

T.he hotel is in a lovely setting and the outdoor space is well looked after.
All staff I came into contacted with were very pleasant and helpful.
My request fo not have any stairs to climb to my room was satisfied.
My room was adequate but certainly not luxurious. In fact it really requires a refurb, the chairs looked tired and were stained. The bathroom was the worst bit the ceiling was a mess possibly not helped due to the fan not working, there were patches where there was no paint left but it wasn't actually mouldy. There had been repairs done which were badly finished. The wash hand basin had several hairline cracks.
Dinner was served in the on site pub. The venue was fine but I was disappointed with the food, quantity over quality I would say, at least with the things that are cheap like chips and potatoes. Quantity certainly wasn't the ruljng factor for the fish and prawn pie, it seemed that one prawn was strategically placed in the middle of it, the haddock was overcooked and the veg that was served was virtually raw in fact it was barely warm, I complained about the food the first night and I was reimbursed.
Apparently there is a dinner allowance of £30 pp. I was impressed that given I was there myself I was able to use the remaining £30 the follow ng night other Hotels have not allowed this.

A lovely place to stay but we did think our meals would be in the restaurant not the pub.

Lovely country house hotel. We upgraded our room and it turned out to be super - very spacious, three large windows overlooking the golf course and the garden, a table & chairs in one window and a very comfortable bed. The offer was excellent as it included a bottle of wine and dinner on the first night. The food in the Linden Pub was very good too. All in all a great experience and an offer we would gladly repeat.
