We were late for our table booking due to bus diversion but we were welcomed and still shown to our table without fuss. The restaurant was very busy but everything was managed smoothly. The food was delicious, good choice and delivered promptly.

We were through to Edinburgh on a mid-week break and had arranged a voucher from Itison, so that we would try Fava and benefit from a discounted deal.
We were extremely satisfied with every aspect of our visit from initial reception at restaurant, selection of table, promptness of attention for menus / drinks.
The food was excellent with my wife having the lamb Kleftiko and I has beef cheeks with Greek pasta and both were excellent and plentiful.

I had not had Greek food in a number of years so was excited to try this restaurant and really looking forward to the food. I was unaware that the Gyros dishes came with chips, and therefore ordered a side of fries with parmesan at this point I would have expected the waiter to check that I was aware of this? However, he did not make me aware, so when the dishes came I was disappointed. The food itself was distinctly average and I would not rush back or recommend the restaurant. The service charge is added on and we paid it but not entirely sure what we were paying for.
