A very comfortable country house hotel which met all our needs more than adequately.

Good. Dog tolerant rather than dog friendly. Not sure how they could justify the dog charge.
My room was awful for weif andphone signal. Room 47.
Good food. Great breakfast

Enjoyed very much our stay at Keavil house hotel, comfy room , lovely grounds for a walk round, breakfast was very good and dinner one night . Spa facilities were great, fab swimming pool and jacuzzi, all in all would definitely return 👌

Only issue I would raise is the constant banging of room doors.
They are not on a soft spring release so when people leave the room every door slams.
We were there same time as a large party of about 30 when they left from 6.30am until 8am we had to endure an hour of constant slamming doors
I think this is something that could be easily rectified.I sure we were not the only guests complaining about it.
Other than that, we had a great stay.Food was lovely, staff were lovely, spa area was lovely..would definitely stay again.

The bed wasn’t the comfiest and the pillows were extremely uncomfortable.
There wasn’t much to chose from on the evening meal plus it was over cooked
The breakfast was self service and again over cooked, some of the items were burnt solid.
This should to be a lovely hotel but sadly would not return

Keavil house hotel has lovely public areas beautiful bedrooms and extremely friendly reception staff. The negative is the dining room staff let them down. Very limited menu but incredibly disorganised.

The standard room we stayed in is in need of refurbishment and a deep clean would not be wasted. The restaurant is a shadow of its former award winning status. The leisure centre was good.
