My son rated it as the best afternoon tea he had ever had . Great choice of toasted sandwiches, scones and great big slice of your choice of home made cake. You also had very good choice of hot drink including hot chocolate with or without marshmallow Add in great service and all in nice surroundings and at a great price. What’s not to like

Much preferred the afternoon tea when you got to choose from the menu, it was different, thats the only reason i bought the voucher didnt realise they had changed it .

The food that should have been hot was Luke warm. The sandwiches were soggy. The scones were dachshund and only 1 small pot of jam and no butter. Poor cake choice as all 4 cakes were dark chocolate. Had the lunch a few weeks earlier and it was very good .Apparently they have a new chef/ cook that could explain the poor food.

We went for afternoon tea , girl said no scones as no dough had arrived , would at extra on , thats was fine . But the afternoon tea we got for 2 was very poor , especially for the price , the last one I went to the was excellent big filled rolls , I won't purchase another afternoon tea. Very disappointed .
