We were shown to our table, a small dark table against a wall with no view or really much light. We were disappointed as we had booked the table several days before. We asked to move to a table that was free, at the front of restaurant, was told it was reserved (no sign on it), when I questioned it I was told it was reserved in 1 hr 30 mins time, we were only having breakfast so I said I’m sure that will be ok. So we were allowed to sit at this lovely bright, airy table with a bit of a view! We were then served our drinks, my tea came in a teapot missing a lid hence the tea flew out of the top and all over my white top, the waitress wiped the table with a token wipe, my husband had to go and ask for napkins as the tea was still dripping down the table onto my trousers now! Not the best of starts, we were starting to worry! Well, the breakfast came and wow, the food was delicious, high quality bacon and sausages, gorgeous roasted vine tomatoes, egg cooked to perfection, food really was the showstopper! I feel just a bit more attention to detail would make this place match the quality of food we were served!

Good range of dishes on menu. I had the steak, frites husband had fish and chips. Both absolutely delicious. Staff very welcoming, friendly and efficient. Gorgeous views over the sea.
