A Wonderful Experience for my Birthday

I have wanted to go here for so long and had good expectations, these were surpassed .
I went with my sister for my 60th Birthday . Everyone we meet front of house were lovely , very professional and well co-ordinated .
The restaurant itself is lovely inside. The set lunch menu had very good choices . The food was fabulous and very well presented , even my very, very fussy sister enjoyed everything ! We shared half of each course that we ordered ( I have a rule that no-one orders the same) so we could try them , in all that was 6 we both tried and each one was delicious , although some stood out more than others , that's to be expected anywhere you have a meal.
All I have is praise for everyone from front of house to the kitchen staff who made the dining experience wonderful , from start to finish we had an excellent unrushed and relaxed time .
The voucher was a great price for for such a dining experience and meeting Tom Kitchin in person added a priceless touch !
I highly recommended it to family & friends when they asked about it.

First time back in what must be 1-2 years and as always blown away by the quality of food, service, friendliness and professionalism of staff (many of whom have been there for years). Availed of a mid week offer on itison but the set lunch is worth every penny regardless.
Fabulous lunch

This was our first meal at The Kitchin. We had the set lunch menu, and we had a fabulous meal. The choices on the menu were very interesting, the ambiance was really lovely, especially on a wet dreary Edinburgh afternoon! The staff were exceptional, anticipating our every need. We also liked the wine list, particularly the option of having a carafe, with excellent choices.
We also really appreciated Tom popping into the restaurant and having a chat with us.
