Beware of the ‘dedicated Itison menu’

On arrival the waitress was a bit shy and clearly hadn’t any reference to our booking as we advised we would be using an Itison voucher, she initially gave us the ‘normal’ menu which we reviewed and when we ordered a drink she then realised we were ‘Itison’, then we were given the relevant menu, which read similar to normal menu but without pricing shown, on receipt of our four tapas dishes we noted that our tapas dishes were half the size of the customers at the next table, also one of our tapas choices was croquetas, when the dish arrived there were two on it, they were bite sized at best, and we were both shocked and disappointed at this, the quality of all food presented was good, no issues there but the elements as noted above made this a rather embarrassing experience. I do not understand why restaurants would do this, I would not recommend Dos Amigos to anyone based on my experience.

Could not fault the whole experience. We were initially welcomed in a friendly manner. Atmosphere was great it was like we were sitting in a Taverna abroad. All the tapas and food were delicious and fresh. The staff were lovely. Will be back.

Our first visit to Dos Amigos and we were very impressed. The food was excellent and so was the service. The waiter was really tentative. We will definitely be back.
