Just ok, food inconsistent.

The restaurant felt quite dated - scuffed plates, crumbs on the floor, quite dark inside. Starters lovely. Mains not great at all. Korma sauce very watery and only 5 small chunks of chicken. Naan nice and so was the rice. Water served in metal goblets which gave off a metallic aftertaste.

Second visit here, and enjoyed it just as much this time. The food is really delicious, very authentic Indian cuisine. The lady serving us was so nice and helpful. Looking forward to our next visit.

Meal was very nice main dish could have been a bit hotter was a wee bit cool but apart from that very good. We went at 5.30 so very quite not much of an atmosphere but that’s to be expected at that time. The restaurant itself was a bit chilly too but might have been because of the time. Staff were very nice and very attentive.

Had been to the restaurant previously and was glad of opportunity to use an itison voucher for an excellent quality meal at a reasonable price
A new experience

My first visit to Green Gates Renfrew was a great experience though it took me quite a while to find the place. The 2 curries I had were very tasty and satisfying, especially the lamb karahi. The rice and nan were also of good quality.
The service was impeccable and the atmosphere superb I( strongly recommend this place.
